The Northstar California Resort in Lake Tahoe has long been known for world-class skiing, friendly service, and top-notch facilities. While these important business staples still apply, today’s resort customer is craving an experience that is unique and memorable, all year round. Northstar is always progressing to accommodate the demand for new experiences. Here is a list of a few new and progressive ways to experience Northstar.
At Northstar it is simple to interact and capture your experience using Epic Mix. Epic Mix is one of the most revolutionary technologies in the mountain resort industry. Select different on-mountain challenges to compete with friends and family; receive feedback from an instructor on your lesson; instantly see a photo taken by on-mountain photographers; tack your time against Lindsay Vonn’s; all this and more is at your fingertips with the Epic Mix app.
That is about it. Access to Northstar’s Mountain is available in many different forms including hiking. Grab a lunch voucher and head on up the lift. At the top, the limits are endless. You can even bring your dog!
Twilight Snowshoe Tour to The Village
The beauty of the Tahoe sky is best experienced at night. This 2.5-hour adventure will have you meandering through the Northstar’s wooded side country. The tour ends in Northstar Village with s’mores and hot chocolate around the fire pit. Among the abundance of food and drink options available, The Village activities include ice skating, bungee trampoline, and candle making.
Relax in the Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe Living Room
Not your average living room. Let the stress slide away mid-mountain at the Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe. The Living Room offers a variety of casual seating options. Seasonal drinks and a Bubbles Bar compliment its all day menu. At no charge the Ritz can be accessed by a scenic gondola ride from the Village, or by car via Highlands View Road. The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe’s dynamic environment is well worth a daytrip, but better for a ski in/out stay with mountain views.
